we are currently improving our Task Templates by setting more refined dependencies and offset_days via the API. As the offset_days is an absolute value, we are wondering what the ‘shift_ratio’ field on the TaskDependency entity is for. It sounds a bit like relative offsets but, we had no luck so far in changing the shift_ratios. Having relative Task offsets would be very nice to have!
Can anybody shine some light on this?
Hi @pixelconductor - the shift_ratio field on the TaskDependency is leftover remanent of something that was removed a few years ago. Currently the shift_ratio field is not actually used by Flow Production Tracking.

Thank you for the clarification.
We will do the “relative” offsets then on our own by checking the duration and calculating the relative offset. Will not auto-update on duration changes, but hey
