Shotgun Web UI: Error opening key SOFTWARE

Hi support,

I’m testing default config now, with all options left with default values. My PC doesn’t have 3DsMax. Everytime when I launch Maya in the Shotgun Web UI, it popes the dialog as shown in the screenshot.

Do you have any idea?

Hi Daniel,

I spoke with the Toolkit team and it sounds like this is a bug they are tracking. I don’t have an ETA on a fix, but a workaround suggestion if you are not using 3dsmax is tot just remove the 3dsmax Software entity from your Shotgun site.

Is this still a bug? We are seeing this error and only some users are using 3DSMAX. So anyone who does not have it installed is getting the error.
