Linking dependencies of asset status to tasks status on an object

Hello,

Is there a way to link the status of an asset to the statuses of the task under that asset. for example if the asset was mark omit all the tasks under it would also be marked omit?

This is the kind of thing to implement with webhooks or the Event Daemon
