Get original movie upload from Version's file_serve URL?

Hey, guys,

When creating Versions, we upload a movie. Shotgun then transcodes that movie into a webm and mp4.

We’ve figured out that you can access the webm and mp4 via the Version’s file_serve links:

https://xyz.shotgunstudio.com/file_serve/version/7013/webm

https://xyz.shotgunstudio.com/file_serve/version/7013/mp4

Can we get the original movie from a similar link?

We can access it with the attachment ID:

https://xyz.shotgunstudio.com/file_serve/attachment/654

…however if we could get it from a Version-based link (like the mp4 and webm), it would save having to search for the Attachment ID.

Definitely!
That is an oversight on our part. A bug is keeping this from working properly.
We’ve opened a ticket to fix this.
