Xavier
- I wanted to be a 3D artist by the late 90’s. No resources for it.
- I managed to get my hands on 3D software and hardware in the early 2000’s. Started to self educate in it. Internet was rather primitive tho.
- Got myself a full time job as a 3D artist in 2005.
- Wanted to learn animation, realised it was not a technical skill, and actually VERY hard. Enrolled myself in Animation Mentor.
- Got my ass in New Zealand looking for better 3D/VFX opportunities in 2009.
- by 2010 I was working on AA products animating full time, and I must say I was able to do so thanks to how Shotgun was pushing away or the crap entanglement of productions with over 100 people.
- Moved to MoCap (love it), circa 2014, and by 2017 luckily Weta had Shotgun too , so I joined them.
- Now working part time producer, part time consultant, and still dealing with people that have not been evangelised with Shotgun or anything remotely close to it.
- Time to learn everything about Shotgun myself and put things in order in front of me
- Please, adopt me.
