The latest version of Shotgun, released today, contains support for the `auth_token`.

The online doc, at [https://developer.shotgunsoftware.com/rest-api/#password-credentials](https://developer.shotgunsoftware.com/rest-api/#password-credentials), have been updated to reflect that fact.
