# Super black background screen Issue When Using RV with ShotGrid Integration

Hi everyone,

Super [black background screen](https://blackscreen.onl/) appears when I try to use RV with ShotGrid. The playback window opens but stays completely black, even though the media is loaded and no error messages are shown.

I have updated my drivers and double-checked ShotGrid settings, but the issue persists. Has anyone encountered this problem or has any suggestions to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Which RV version are you using? It may be the same issue as in [this thread](https://community.shotgridsoftware.com/t/random-black-preview-on-some-loaded-movies-with-rv-2024-1-0/18926).
