1. By default it will download into the bundle\_cache folder inside you [cache folder](https://developer.shotgunsoftware.com/7c9867c0/). The whole cache location can be changed via the [`SHOTGUN_HOME`](https://developer.shotgunsoftware.com/tk-core/initializing.html#environment-variables) env var. The location should be unique to the user and not on network storage (for performance reasons). You can separate out the bundle cache from the rest of the cache using `SHOTGUN_BUNDLE_CACHE_PATH` and that could be stored somewhere centrally so it can be shared. 2.
